小时候的我由于身体体质差，所以父母带我来到了跆拳道馆。一开始背跆拳道的精神只是觉得好玩，后来才渐渐领悟到了这十二个字的真正含义。

先是礼仪，每天上课前我们穿着整齐的道服，系着颜色不同的道带，向国旗敬礼，向老师敬礼，向同学敬礼。每次踢完腿后都要向靶的敬礼。起先是好玩，之后开始厌烦，最后才发现不仅是在跆拳道馆，在生活中我也用到了礼仪，开始很少跟人发生冲突，不再随便发脾气，这才知道为什么跆拳道要以礼始，以礼终了。

然后是廉耻，跆拳道中不能侮辱别人，看到踢腿还不熟练的人要去帮助他们，教导他们;而被教导的人必须谦虚的认识自己的错误，听他人教导，而不是倔犟，自以为是。因为我练得比较久，道带高，总会嘲笑别人，老师罚我，我也很不服气，之后才知道被嘲笑的感觉，学的乖起来，知错能改，乐于助人出现在了我的身上。朋友多了，与我关系不好的人少了，生活丰富了，这才知道了廉耻的重要性。
